March 2015 AMA Detroit Supercross

Let's get ready to riiiiiiide. Seeing as dirt bikes have now become a part of my everyday life, it was only right that I return to my home state with my new family to show them, yet again, what the Motor City is made of.

AMA Motocross High Point

Earlier this summer my boyfriend, his family and I attended my first AMA Motocross (MX) Race. It took place at the beautiful High Point track in West Virginia. Despite my awesome sunburn the race was action packed and so was the crowd. I love the challenge of shooting something new and especially at such a fast pace. I caught a glimpse of everyone from Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen and the great James Stewart.

Autism Meets Awesome

Thanks to all the bands that performed this weekend at the Brothers Drake Meadery in Columbus, Ohio (The Great Wide Open. The High Definitions & Cordial Sins) for an amazing Autism fundraiser put on by my great friend Dominique Mamie.

Columbus Zoo

I'm not one for animals being locked up and out of their natural habitat, but the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's new Heart of Africa exhibit is something different. It's wide open, no cages and room to roam as animals should. I was also happy to find out that the admission money goes towards animal preservation. Now if all zoos, around the world, could do this, we'd be heading in the right direction.

AMA Supercross - Detroit, MI

For the first time in YEARS Monster AMA Supercross was back in Detroit, MI. Taking place in March 2014 at Ford Field, the event was packed full of excitement and lots of eager fans who have been waiting for the amazing Supercross show to come back to Motown!

There's nothing like the Motor City

Every time I go home to Detroit I just can't help but capture the beautiful architecture. Here are some things from the past few years.
